  5. Yes, it's version 1.31! And here are the new features:
  6.  
  7. - It can play the sounds it is extracting.
  8. - It can beep when the extraction is finished.
  9. - You can choose custom playback rates.  This can be very useful if
  10.   you need to extract sounds from a Unix or Amiga file.  Version 1.4,
  11.   anyway, will probably recognize those sounds as well as AIFF and
  12.   SoundEdit Pro files.

  14. Some bugs were fixed.

  16. For those who don't know, SoundExtractor is a System 7 dependent utility
  17. that lets you "extract" sounds from any kind of file.  You just drag it
  18. on top of SoundExtractor's icon, and it'll create a sound folder (with
  19. its own icon) containing all the sounds it could find, in System 7
  20. format. This means that all you need to play them is to double-click on
  21. them.

  23. SoundExtractor will also extract data sounds, stereo data or resource
  24. sounds, or non-standard resource sounds.
